Using Your Ice Cream Maker
1. Place the Freezer Bowls in the back of the freezer where it is the coldest. It is recommended that the Freezer Bowls be placed upright on a level surface for an even freezing of the coolant inside.2. Refer to the instructions in the next section “Ice Cream Recipes” to prepare your choice of ice cream mixtures. For best results, prepare your ice cream mixture one day in advance before making ice cream. This adds volume and allows time for the mixture to cool sufficiently in your refrigerator. Now that your Freezer Bowls are completely frozen and your ice cream mixture has had a minimum of 4 hours to cool in the refrigerator, it is time to assemble your double ice cream maker.3. Place the ice cream maker Base on a dry flat level surface.4. Hold the Mixing Unit upside down and insert the drive shaft into the slot provided (photo 1).
5. While continuing to hold the mixing unit upside down, slide the transparent Lid onto the mixing unit until they click together (photo 2).6. Remove the Freezer Bowls from the freezer and place them onto the Base.7. Connect the Stir Paddle to the drive shaft (photo 3).8. With the Mixing Unit, Lid, Drive Shaft and Stir Paddle securely connected together, attach the transparent Lids to the Freezer Bowls by lining up the latches on the lids to the tabs on the top of the Bowls. Push the latches in towards the bowl to lock into place (photo 4).9. Plug unit into convenient 100-240V~60/50Hz AC-only outlet. Press the On/Off switch to the ON(l) position. The Stir Paddle will begin to turn. Immediately pour your ice cream mixture through the ingredient spout (photo 5).
10. Leave the Ice Cream Maker ON ( I ) for approximately 20-40 minutes or until desired consistency is reached.11. Ingredients such as chips and nuts should be added about 5 minutes before the recipe is complete. Once the dessert has begun to thicken, add the ingredients through the ingredient spout. Nuts and other ingredients should be no larger than the size of a peanut.12. Unlatch transparent lid and remove together with Mixing Unit and StirPaddle (photo 6). Your homemade ice cream is ready to serve.
